Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4 1954, is a Canadian-American actress. O'Hara has been the recipient of several prizes, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara first became known for her acting in the year 1974 while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. She was part of the main ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara and Candy started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won an Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.

 Miller Gaffney'02 and Carol Pryor Brosseau'03 host "Art Breakers" that airs Sunday nights at 7 p.m. on Ovation. The show focuses on their roles as art brokers, who help connect artists and collectors. They produced four episodes which will be aired throughout the month of October, beginning on Sunday, October. 4th at 7pm Central. Ovation is home to over 50 million subscribers, and also champions artists via the Ovation Digital Arts network. They are hopeful of getting approval to continue filming. Baylor and the people and friends I met there have significantly affected and shaped my life. Karen Pope from the Art History department. I had a lot of fun studying with Dr. Pope for my major and traveled to Paris and Chicago with her to learn about art. Her passion for art was infectious. It was always a joy to study with her. I worked as a mechanic's assistant during the summer months, changing oil and brakes.
