Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 in 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former political candidate, as well as a television host at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show in order to release their own independent project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball says that she owes her passion for politics to the reality that she became a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able watch the US presidential elections while in Jordan. She was able to see how the election affected those in the country, and thus gained an appreciation of the worldwide impact US politics have on the lives of people around the world. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district in the year 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 to July 2015, she hosted of The Cycle on MSNBC. She hosted The Cycle, a show on MSNBC, from June 2012 to July 2015.
