Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965) is an American actress from the United States. She is most famous for her role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick was awarded an Emmy Award in 2010 and an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. The seventh season of the show ended on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's films roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are as well. Sedgwick was born New York City to Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), who is a speech/family therapist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick who is a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was an Episcopalian. She was also of English origins. Sedgwick declares herself Jewish, and she has stated that she is a participant in Passover seders.
