Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant director of communications (2009–2011) and the spokesperson of the Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack Both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was in office from 2005 until 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and as regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was also the press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. The 11th of February 2013 Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] There was speculation Psaki was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She was appointed Communications Director in the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of the year in 2015.
